• Because it is a courageous animal, like an explorer in the wild lands, in fact it manages to annoy animals thousands of times bigger than him. It’s an animal in constant movement, like walkers on a path, not only that, it’s a fundamental recycler, representative of sustainability, one of the key concepts to me, after all just think that, without flies, we would be full of poop.

    Furthermore I firmly believe that we should constantly have the conversation about our responsibilities regarding global warming and climate change in mind, like the buzzing of a fly.

Who is behind the scenes?

I'm Vittorio, since I was a child I have always had a strong passion for everything that surrounds us, animals, plants, rocks and atmospheric phenomena. All those beautiful things, even today, after years of observations, manage to excite me just like when I was a little child, growing up I often found myself telling my friends about the natural environment, teaching them to observe what surrounds us, and often goes unnoticed!

At the age of eighteen, partly due to family pressure, partly due to immaturity, I feared that my passion for nature could only remain a hobby and I decided to enroll in law school. Never was a decision more wrong, I fell into depression and felt very dull. After a few years of dissatisfaction and bad results I decided to follow my inner child and enroll in natural sciences at La Sapienza University, those things that before were just spontaneous observations began to take sense and order, and my way of approaching the world and life has radically changed.

But this wasn't enough, I felt the need to be able to tell what I was studying and the natural beauty that surrounds us to a wider audience than just family and friends.

And what better way to do it than directly in the field?

I decided to inscribe in the preparation course for environmental hiking guides held by AIGAE (Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides). Today, after successfully passing the final exam, I feel ready to accompany anyone who is curious to set out and discover what the area in which I live has to offer!
